Happy November, friends. I’ve decided I’m going to live in an alternate reality where it actually stayed chilly in Dallas instead of going back up into the 80s and 90s. (Those temps. Ugh. reat for patio days, not so great for hygge, sweet, sweet hygge.)
I want to take the next month off and nest in my cozy cottage and wear oversized sweaters and read lots and lots of books. But we all know that’s not going to happen.
nstead, I’ll start mainlining holiday romance novels before bed (start? Ha! That implies I ever stopped) and diffusing clove and cinnamon and wild sweet orange essential oils—and pretend that winter is coming.
But it is November, which means that NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) has started. And while I often NaNo (heck, every month is novel writing month in my life), I never do it officially. The rules, the spreadsheets, I’m not not any good at those.
I am, however, good at getting my words in and cheering on others. So my HBIC Nation ladies and I decided we’d #HBICnano together. Play by the official rules, or just come play with us as we do a bunch of hosted #amwriting #1k1hr sprints and other write-ins over the month on Twitter and in our FB group.
Don't write? Cheer on your favorite writers. This month's NANO might be next year's blockbuster!
